Central Islip FD-House fire on Adams Avenue

March 14, 2019. Fire reported at approximately 0030 hours at a garden apartment complex on Adams Road. Units arrive to find the building evacuated and heavy fire within. Crews made an initial interior attack but once part of the roof collapsed, crews backed out and went to an exterior master stream operation.Brentwood, Hauppuage, East Brentwood, Islip Terrace operated at the scene along with Central Islip Ambulance, Islip Exchange Ambulance and Brentwood Leigon Ambulance.
