Terryville FD-House fire on Ontario Street

March 27, 2022. 0436 hours. The Terryville Fire Department responds to 29 Ontario Street for a reported house fire. Crews arrive to find an active fire in the walls around a fireplace with extension into the attic. The fire was quickly extinguished, crews opened up to confirm that there was no extension and the fire was placed under control within 30 minutes. Selden FD sent an Engine, Port Jefferson FD sent a ladder and Setauket FD sent a RIT. There were no reported injuries.
