Hauppauge FD/CIHVAC-Traffic collision leads to fire on the Long Island Expressway.

February 1, 2019 1522 HRS. the Hauppauge Fire Department responds with CI-Hauppauge Ambulance to an MVA in the Westbound side of the Long Island Expressway between exits 57-56. Units arrive to find a crash involving two vehicles, both of which were burning. Surprisingly, there were no injuries. The Westbound LIE was closed for approximately 20 minutes as a result of this incident. Hauppauge Engines 4,1,3 and HR 9 operated at this incident under the command of 2nd Asst Chief Brett Martinez.
