Hauppauge FD/CIHVAC handle fatal car vs pole

February 21, 2019 0422 HRS Hauppauge Fire Department responds with Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance to a traffic collision near 438 Wheeler Road. Units arrive to find that a single vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The lone female occupant was pronounced DOA at the scene. 1st Assistant Chief Ronald Walker as well as CI-Hauppauge Ambulance 3-26-19 were on scene. SCPD closed the road between Express Drive North and Rabro for their investigation and until the pole and wires were repaired (just after 11AM). Photo courtesy of 3840
