Dix Hills FD-house fire on Hickory Hill Drive

February 2, 2019 0330 hours. The Dix Hills Fire Department is dispatched to a residential structure fire at 11 Hickory Hill Drive. Units arrive to find an active fire on the upper level of a vacant two story colonial. Crews stretch on the fire while mutual aid is requested from the Deer Park Fire Deoartment for a RIT and Commack Fire Department for an engine to the scene. The fire was placed under control within 25 minutes. There were no injuries. The Suffolk County Police Department Arson Squad is investigating.
