Huntington Manor FD-Barn fire on Round Swamp Road

March 17, 2022 1720 hours. Huntington Manor firefighters respond to a report of a fire in the area of Round Swamp Road in West Hills. Crews arrive to find a fully involved barn with injured animals running around the property at 63 Round Swamp Road. Mutual aid was provided by Melville FD and Syosset FD. The fire was placed under control at approximately 1830 hours. The barn was a total loss. The SPCA and Strong Island Rescue were called to the scene to assist with the injured animals.
