February 12, 1991 This fire was reported at approximately 1700 hours. This is the 2nd fire at this location. The first was on March 27, 1989. Mutual aid from Hauppauge, Smithtown and St. James. Highway Department also responds with a payloader to pull some of the building apart. The parcel where the building sat is currently a wooded area on the SE corner of Lake Ave at Smithtown Blvd.
