January 24, 1985. The Nissequogue Fire Deparrtment responds to a structure fire at the Sherbet Estate located on the corner of Cordwood Path and Moriches Road. This estate was owned by the Christianson Family, who started Papillon Publications in 1981. The damage was extensive. Mutual aid was provided by the Hauppauge, Centereach, Eatons Neck, Middle Island and Stony Brook Fire Departments. I have photos of this. Smithtown Messenger 1-31-1985
