Hauppauge FD-Two trapped in overturn by the State Bldg

December 23, 2019 0612 hours. The Hauppauge Fire Department is dispatched along with Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance to a motor vehicle crash on Raul Wallenburg Drive, south of Veterans Highway. Units arrive to find Suffolk County Police ESU cutting two subjects out of an SUV that had left the roadway and overturned, rolling down an embankment. ESU officers removed the roof of the vehicle and the two occupants exited under their own power. Ambulance personnel evaluated both subjects who denied injury and refused transport. Fire and EMS Personnel took up, leaving the scene to the police department.
