Smithtown FD-Church fire on Route 111

Fire reported by two parishioners. at 1932 hours. The church was located on the corner of Mt. Pleasant Road and Route 111. This was the First Church of Christ Science. The church was demolished. Fred Kerschenheiter and Dick Rose from SCPD Arson worked the scene with Brofman from Smithtown. This was an arson fire. Smithtown News 4-6-1995
