March 17, 2008 Don Scott, Smithtown FD historian and one of its longest serving members, passed away on March 17, 2008. Scott owned Scott Plumbing and had been an active member of the fire department since 1950. Funeral was held at Fives Funeral Home and he was creamated at Washington Memorial Park in Coram.
