August 26, 2018 0130 hours. Lakeland Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 125 West 1st Street. Units arrive and find an active fire within a private dwelling. Crews stretch on the fire and mutual aid is requested for a RIT from Nesconset and an engine from Ronkonkoma. The fire was quickly extinguished. Nesconset was cancelled while en-route. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
