Stony Brook FD-House fire on Meadow Drive

August 30, 2018 1326 hours. Stony Brook Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 12 Meadow Drive. Units arrived within a minute and advised of an active fire on the exterior of a converted garage with extension into the attic space. Lines were stretched and mutual aid was requested from Setauket for a ladder, engine and ambulance, Centereach for a ladder and St. James FD for a ladder and RIT. The fire was confined to the garage and command placed fire fire under control at 1355. All units cleared the scene at 1450 hours.
