Dix Hills FD-House fire on Vanderbilt Parkway

November 23, 2018 1820 hours. Dix Hills Fire Department responds to a report of a house on fire at 328 Vanderbilt Parkway. Units arrive and find a small fire within the structure. The mutual aid plan is initiated bringing in units from other departments, including a RIT from Commack. The fire was quickly extinguished without incident.
