December 2, 2018 Brentwood FD responds to 16 Hewes Street in regards to a structure fire. Units arrive to find heavy fire in the basement of a two story private dwelling. Crews stretch while mutual aid is requested from Central Islip, Islip Terrace, Deer Park, Ebay Shore, East Brentwood and Commack. Crews pushed in as the fire advanced to the second floor.
