February 18, 2022 0602 hours. The North Babylon Fire Company responds to a reported house fire at 58 Peacock Lane. Arriving units encounter a fire in a single story private dwelling. With the help of the Deer Park and West Islip Fire Departments, the fire was brought under control within 30 minutes. The West Babylon Fire Department was also requested but was cancelled while en-route. Two occupants were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
