Smithtown FD-yet another vehicle slams into 80 Maple Avenue

February 22, 2019 1145 hours. In has what has now become a regular occurrence, a senior transport bus attempted to enter the parking lot of 80 Maple Avenue in Smithtown but did not fit under the roadway that passes under the building. As a result, there was damage to the building and to the vehicle. This is a common occurrence here as operators of high vehicles don’t realize that they wont fit. Thankfully, no-one in the bus or in the building was injured. Fire Marshals from the Town of Smithtown Department of Public Safety and a Town of Smithtown Building Inspector both responded to evaluate the damage.
