December 27, 2021 2030 hours. The North Amityville Fire Company was dispatched along with Suffolk Police to a report of a carbon monoxide emergency at a home on 41st Street in Copiague. Units arrived and found a 79 year old male deceased within the home. A 49 year old female resident was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
