Smithtown FD-Fire at the Ground Round Restaurant

February 9, 1997 Fire in the kitchen results in extensive damage to the restaurant. This is the first of at least two fires that damage this building. The Ground Round was where the TD Bank is now, on the end of the triangle on the south side of the intersection. Smithtown News 2-9-1987.
