Commack FD-Sprinkler system extinguishes fire in T-Mobile on Motor Parkway

February 6, 2022 0640 hours. The Commack Fire Department is dispatched on a telephone alarm with the caller reporting smoke and flames in the T-Mobile Store at 16 Vanderbuilt Motor Parkway. While units were en-route, the dispatcher took a call from a central station monitoring company reporting a water flow alarm. Units arrived, forced entry and found that the fire sprinkler system had extinguished a small fire inside the store. There were no injuries.
