Kings Park FD-house fire on Oak Hill Lane

March 16, 2019 1337 hours. The Kings Park Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 16 Oak Hill Lane off Sunken Meadow Road. Crews arrive to find an active fire in a two and one half story wood frame private dwelling.Firefighters stretched in and make a a quick attack on the fire. Mutual aid was requested from East Northport, Northport, Smithtown and the Commack Fire Departments. The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control within 20 minutes of being activated. Fire Marshals from the Town of Smithtown Department of Public Safety are handling the investigation.  There were no injuries.
