April 13, 2021 0317 hours. The Lindenhurst Fire Department responds to a report of smoke in the area on Montauk Highway. After a quick search of the area, firefighters transmitted a working fire in a single story row of stores at 39 West Montauk Highway. Units from Lindenhurst, Copiague, North Lindenhurst and West Babylon Fire Departments operated under the command of Lindenhurst Chief Mike DeGregorgio. The building sustained extensive damage.
