Copiague FD-house fire on Emerald Lane South

February 1, 2022. 0450 hours. The Copiague Fire Department responds to a report of a house on fire at 6 Emerald Lane South in the North Amityville Fire District. Units arrive to find a fully involved two story private dwelling. Shortly after units arrived, the front of the building collapsed, North Lindenhurst FD sent and engine and a truck and Amityville FD also sent units. Crews operated with multiple hand lines and a tower ladder. All of the occupants exited safety and there were no injuries. Photo found on GroupMe
