August 25, 2021 0333 hours.- 200 Airport Plaza (Applebees)
August 25, 2021 0333 hours. The East Farmingdale Fire Department was dispatched on an activated fire alarm at the Applebees Restaurant located at 200 Airport Plaza. Units arrived to find smoke showing and once firefighters made entry, the alarm was upgraded to a working fire. Engine 1-5-2 was first due, stretched in and made quick work of extinguishing the fire, which was in the kitchen. East Farmingdale Chief of Dept Duane Welliver operated with two engines, one truck, fire police and their first responder. The Farmingdale Fire Department and the South Farmingdale Fire Departments both sent units to the scene as well. There were n injuries.
