Kings Park FD-house fire on Bread and Cheese Hollow Road

January 25, 2020. 1905 Hours. The Kings Park Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a house on fire at 207 Bread and Cheese Hollow Road in Fort Salonga. Arriving units encounter smoke in the house. Crews deal with extensive hoarding conditions but eventually find and extinguish fire in the basement.Mutual aid from Northport (Engine), East Nortport (RIT), Commack (ladder), Smithtown (Engine) and St. James (engine and Ambulance to cover). One civilian was transported from the scene with difficulty breathing. Crews cleared from the scene just after 0100 hours.
