December 9, 2019 1200 hours. The Smithtown Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a house fire at 1 Lindron Ave off of Plymouth Blvd. Units arrive to find an active fire in a stove in the kitchen of a single story private dwelling. The fire is extinguished, the range disconnected and the house vented using mechanical fans. Chief 31 operated with two engines, a heavy rescue and Commack Fire Deparrtment ladder. All FD personnel secured from the scene at 1239. There were no injuries. Photos by Lou Scannon.
