December 11, 2019 2045 hours. The Smithtown Fire Department is dispatched to the area of Plymouth Blvd and Old Northport Road in regard to smoke in the area. Units arrived and after a quick search, located a vehicle burning in the yard of Winters Brothers on Lawrence Road. The location of the vehicle required a long hose stretch but crews had the fire extinguished within a few minutes. Fire Marshals from the Town of Smithtown and Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Department Arson Squad are investigating. There were no injuries.
