July 13, 2021 0350 hours. Members of the Dix Hills Fire Department along with mutual aid departments battled a blaze in an occupied two story private dwelling at 506 Half Hollow Road. All occupants of the home evacuated safely. The fast moving fire gutted the home. The cause of fire is currently under investigation by the Suffolk County Police Departments Arson Squad.
