Huntington Manor FD-House fire on East 11th Street.

February 11, 2022 1841 hours. Huntington Manor FD is dispatched to a house fire at 30 East 11th Street. The first due Chief transmitted the working fire. Firefighters stretched in and attacked the fire which was in a bedroom on the second floor, while mutual aid was requested from the Huntington Fire Department for an engine and the Greenlawn Fire Department for a RIT. The incident was placed under control within 30 minutes. The Melville Fire Department sent a unit to cover for Manor for the duration. Huntington Community Ambulance was on scene with multiple units. One civilian was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The Suffolk County Police Department Arson Squad is investigating.
