Kings Park FD-Plane crash on Fifth Ave in 1976

Beachcraft Bonanza crash landed inb a field at Fifth Avenue and Marvin Drive after developing engine trouble enroute from the Hamptons. The plane, piloted by Joel Crager, 46 of Fort Lee, New Jersey, swooped over the rooftops of nearby homes before making the emergency landing. Crager suffered a lacerated lip. A passenger, Carol Crager, 22, was uninjured. The duo continued on thier trip by train. Photo and story in 2-5-1976 Smithtown News.
