June 5, 2019 0905 hours. The Smithtown Fire Department responds to a report of a traffic collision on Route 347 near Plaisted Avenue. Crews arrive to find a single vehicle that left the roadway and came to rest in a wooded area. FD Personnel secured and stabilized the vehicle so that the EMS crew could remove the occupant. The subject was evaluated by EMS.
