Smithtown FD-Overturn on Main Street

June 7, 2019 1654 hours. The Smithtown Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a traffic collision at Main Street and North Country Road. Units arrive to find crash involving two vehicles, one of which left the roadway and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its side against a tree on the lawn of the Smithtown Library. FD personnel stabilized and secured both vehicles while EMS personnel packaged and transported two patients. All FD units cleared from the scene by 1830.
