Greenlawn FD-House fire on Delamere Street

January 22, 2022. 1805 hours. The Greenlawn Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 18 Delamere Street. Units arrive to find fire in a garage attached to a 1.5 story private dwelling. Dix Hills sent a RIT, East Northport Fire Department sent an engine to cover, Huntington Manor Fire Department sent an engine to the scene. The Centerport Fire Department sent an ambulance to cover and the Halesite Fire Department was requested for an ambulance. Two lines were stretched and operated. There were no injuries. Suffolk County Police Arson detectives are handling the investigation.
