January 7, 1959 1945 Hours. I have no idea where this business was located. According to an article in the January 8, 1959 edition of the Smithtown News, a boiler exploded in a rear room of the Long Island French Cleaners at approximately 1945 hours. No one is injured according to business owner Michael Gianastasio. Please feel free to comment if you have any other information.
