January 8, 1989. The Smithtown FIre Department is dispatched to a report of a house fire on Mt. Pleasant Road (Not sure of the exact address). Units arrive to find a mattress during in a bedroom, reportedly due to an arcing electrical outlet. Thats all I have on this one. Feel free to comment with any additional information.
