Greenlawn FD-fire at Telephonics on Park Ave

September 21, 2021 Greenlawn Fire dispatch was notified of a fire in a commercial structure at Telephonics Corporation, 770 Park Avenue. First due first units found fire on the roof of the building as well as extension throughout HVAC system. Crews from Greenlawn, Huntington Manor, Huntington and East Northport Fire Departments under the command of Greenlawn Chief of Department Angelo Santomauro operated for approximately three hours before the fire was placed under control.
