November 27, 2019 1014 hours. Nesconset, Ronkonkoma and St. James Fire Departments were dispatched to 292 Smithtown Blvd in Nesconset in regard to smoke coming from a laundromat. Assistant Chief AJ Anderson was first in advised that there was smoke showing. Units arrived shortly thereafter and extinguished active fire in two dryers. The building was vented and FD units were back in service with 45 minutes. Fire Marshals from the Town of Smithtown Department of Public Safety are handling the investigation.
