March 16, 2021 0020 hours. Firefighters from multiple area departments responded with the Hagerman Fire Department to a fire at a vacant home 831Amsterdam Avenue. The fast moving blaze gutted the home. Radiant heat from the fire melted vinyl siding off the neighboring home. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven and the Suffolk Police Arson Squad. Photos Via: Bryan Lopez.
