March 23, 2021 1650 hours. The Lakeland Fire Department, assisted by surrounding depts respond to a report of a crash with a vehicle into a home. Suffolk County Police say a woman and her daughter were pulling out of their driveway on Seusing Blvd. when she lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled across the street, onto the front lawn, and partially into her neighbor’s home just before. The house was not occupied the time of the crash. Neighbors say the incident was caused by the woman’s shoe getting stuck. The driver was airlifted to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The 6-year-old daughter was transported via a Lakeland Fire Department ambulance to the same hospital, with only minor injuries. Photos Via: Bryan Lopez
