Rocky Point FD-House fire on Triton Road

April 10, 2021 1230 hours. The Rocky Point Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 7 Triton Rd. Crews arrive to find a well involved two story private dwelling that was under construction. Firefighters from Rocky Point, the Wading River Fire Department and Brookhaven National Lab operated multiple hand lines and a tower ladder. The fire was placed under control within an hour. The Ridge Fire Department sent an engine to cover for the duration. There were no reported injuries. Brookhaven Town Fire Marshals are investigating.
