Mastic Beach FD-House fire on Kent Drive

April 19, 2021 2026 hours Mastic Beach Fire Department was activated for a reported structure fire at 32 Kent Dr. Arriving units encountered active fire in the rear and venting through the roof of a two story dwelling. Mutual aid was requested from the Mastic and Brookhaven Fire Departments. Crews operated with multiple lines both within and in the rear of the structure. The fire was placed under control at 0944 hours. Mastic Beach Ambulance was on scene but no injuries were reported. Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven are handling the investigation.
