May 11, 2021 2158 hours. The Middle Island Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 10 Saddlebrook Court. Crews arrived to find heavy fire throughout a two story private dwelling.
Firefighters utilized a deck gun and numerous hand lines and placed the fire under control within 40 minutes. Mutual aid was provided by surrounding departments. No injuries were reported. Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven and Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Department Arson squad are handling the investigation. Video by Chris Sabella
