July 1, 2021 1606 hours. The Terryville Fire Department received a call from a resident at 407 Sara Circle (in the Fox Meadow condominimum complex) stating they had a fire in an electrical outlet. At 4:08pm 1st Assistant Chief Craig Brozio radioed our dispatcher that he had a working fire and the alarm was retransmitted. Our mutual aid plan was put into effect. Terryville fire crews along with our neighboring departments from Port Jefferson, Setauket, Stony Brook, Port Jefferson Volunteer Ambulance, Selden and Mt. Sinai worked to bring the fire under control under the command of the Chief of the Department Frank Russo. Luckily all the residents were evacuated and no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported. The fire is being investigated by Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven.
