Mastic Beach FD-House fire on Dahlia Drive

August 15, 2021 0842 hours. The Mastic Beach Fire Department and Mastic Beach Ambulance Corp were dispatched to a report of a house fire at 115 Dahlia Drive. Upon arrival firefighters found smoke and flames in the area of the chimney of the house. The OIC transmitted the working fire bringing an engine from the Mastic Fire Department to the scene and the Brookhaven Fire Department to cover. mutual aid was started out from Mastic to the scene and Brookhaven to standby. The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no injuries and the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshals are investigating.
