Mt. Sinai FD-House fire on Jessica Lane

December 11, 2021 The Mt. Sinai Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 1 Jessica Lane. Units arrive to find heavy fire in a two story wood frame dwelling. According to police an adult female was transported to Stony Brook Hospital for a mental health evaluating after setting the fire during a dispute. Mt. Sinai along with numerous mutual aid depts had the fire under control within 40 minutes. There were no injuries. Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven and Detectives from the Suffolk PD Arson Squad were on scene.
