April 29, 2021 0130 hours. The West Sayville Fire Department responds along with mutual aid departments to a house fire at 270 Edgewood Avenue in Oakdale. The fast moving blaze gutted the home, causing the roof to collapse. No serious injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Suffolk Arson Detectives and the Town of Islip Fire Marshals Office. Photos Via: Bryan Lopez
