February 12, 2022. 2125 hours. The Islip Fire Department is dispatched to a report of smoke in the area of Freeman Avenue. Units arrive and quickly locate a box truck burning at All County Amusements at 201 Freeman. Crews stretched and operated two lines and extinguished the fire, which had also extended to a mobile office trailer. The East Islip Fire Department sent an engine to cover and Islip Exchange sent an ambulance to the scene. Suffolk County Police Arson Squad Detectives are investigating. Photos by Jared Medic 34
