Ridge FD-house fire on Manhasset Trail

January 20, 2022 0530 hours. Ridge Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a house fire at 6 Manhasset Trail. Firefighters arrive to find fire throughout a one and a half story private dwelling. Due to the volume of fire and potential for collapse, crews initially attacked the fire from the exterior. Manorville FD sent a ladder, Riverhead sent an engine, BNL sent a RIT, Middle Island sent an ambulance, Wading River sent an ambulance to cover and Rocky Point FD sent an engine to cover.
