January 8, 2022 Hagerman Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a house on fire at 756 MacDonald Avenue. Units arrive and investigate, quickly locating a fire in the basement of the single story house. The Patchogue Fire Department sent a unit to cover while the North Patchogue and Bellport Fire Departments sent units to the scene. All visible fire was extinguished within 15 minutes. Trucks opened yo, searched and vented. There were no injuries. Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshals are handling the investigation.
