Kings Park FD-house fire on Maple Drive

January 7, 2005 1445 hours. The Kings Park Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a house fire at 72 Maple Drive. Units arrive to find an active fire in the basement. Fire reported by Wayne Albino who owned and occupied the house with his wife Michelle and their two children. Fire reported at 1445 hours. FD arrives to find a fire in the finished basement. Smithtown Fire Marshal Lon Gooch determines that the fire started in or on a live Christmas tree in the basement family room. No injuries are reported.
